The Final Bits to our Thanksgiving Feast

Okie dokie,

•I picked up a half of a Vegan Cherry Pie with....   [VEGAN, WHOLE FOODS]

•A pint of Vegan Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream (I found a brand called, "Halo Top" at Ralph's that was selling vegan ice cream for a good price, but to save all you guys time and effort, you're welcome to just pick up whatever brand of vegan ice cream Whole Food carries. At my Whole Foods, they have a few different vegan brands, including "So" brand, which DOES carry a Salted Caramel flavor, I believe). [VEGAN, WHOLE FOODS OR RALPH'S]

•I got the Cranberry White Chocolate bread [VEGETARIAN, WHOLE FOODS]

•I got the creamy mashed potatoes (both Whole Foods and Ralph's carry them) [VEGETARIAN, WHOLE FOODS OR RALPH'S]

•And, as a special surprise treat, for anyone who has still yet to go to Whole Foods and finds their Whole Foods carries it, I also picked up a couple of my favorite Mexican stone-ground chocolates to make hot chocolate with, as a nice VEGAN NON-ALCOHOLIC beverage offering also. The brand name is Taza Chocolate (dark) and I got Vanilla and Salted Almond flavors. They are organic, non-GMO, Gluten-Free and certified Direct Trade. [VEGAN, WHOLE FOODS]

*Note: On the Soulkin Instagram account, I have photos of these hot chocolates, so you know what to look like (they're a bit unusual). My Whole Foods puts them over the by the chocolate bars section. I also posted a photo of the new brand of vegan ice cream I found at Ralph's, in case you want to try it, but again, you don't have to. To reduce running around to a thousand different grocers, Whole Foods carries plenty of vegan brands, even in Salted Caramel. In my neighborhood, Ralph's and Whole Foods are only two blocks away from each other, so it's no biggie. Do whatever's easiest for you. ♡♡♡

•I got organic, non-GMO unsweetened, Almondmilk to make the Mexican hot chocolate with [VEGAN, WHOLE FOODS OR RALPHS'S]

As a separate, non-Thanksgiving food aside, Eddie, Whole Foods was having a sale in their deli section on some Vegan Maple Brussel Sprouts with Pumpkin Seeds. They have a nice kick to them bc they're also made with some Cayenne Pepper. When I told your Underground self about them, you seemed so excited about them, so I thought I'd mention 'em here up top, in case you wanted to pick some up when you head down there for the pie, etc. It'd be great if your local Whole Foods had 'em, too. These I just got to add to my regular dinner over the next few days, but you might like 'em for yourself and/or Jack for the same purpose. :) ♡ I added a couple photos of them on the Soulkin Instagram, too.

Took a little longer than expected tonight because I ran into my super cool art muralist friend, Robert Vargas. He's like a mega big deal here in the LA art scene. Anyway, him and I were catching up and it had been a minute. He invited me to this really cool event coming up this Spring. I'll have to tell you about it later. I felt honored he personally invited me. :)
