So, just to put it out there, in case either or both of you ended up without anything definitive to do on Thanksgiving Day proper, I'll be trying to head to the beach (prolly Santa Monica bc it's the easiest to get to on a holiday). I'm going to aim to get out there sometime during the day, depending on how much I'll be able to sleep in, considering the tyranny of the Ghetto Lady, et al, because they typically tear it up - starting early - on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. It takes me about an hour to get out there + 20 minutes to find a spot, get set up, etc. There's also the "world-renown" Santa Monica Pier which also has a lot of fun things to do, although I'm not sure that much of it will be open on the holiday. I'll find out once I'm there.
I texted my friend Christina to see if she was doing anything for the holiday this year but I haven't heard back from her yet, so I'm not sure that's happening. She's super disorganized though, so who knows? I could get a confirmation last minute. If she does host a dinner, I think it's typically held in the evening, so I might be able to do both.
But, I'm def gonna try to get out to the beach. And, if one or both of you end up being free afterall, for any reason, you're welcome to join me. I can even take some photos and videos, like I've done before with you, Eddie, and you guys can try to psychically extrapolate what is there.
If you went ahead and made plans on Tofurkey Day itself, like I encouraged you both to feel free to do, all's good. Don't feel bad or worry about me. ♡ I simply wanted you both to feel free to spend the time with your kids, if you wanted to or had a tradition of doing so. I often take the Cuddle Crew or my Dad and Grandma out with me on the holidays, so I'll be fine. But if you didn't make plans or end up being free for any reason, you're welcome to join me at the Santa Monica Beach and Pier for a brisk autumn day of wave and seagull watching. :) :) ♡♡
Love you both!!
